Hey everyone! Last Sunday were the Emmy Awards, and this Sunday are the Tony Awards! This is an exciting time for me because I am such a TV and Theater Nerd, and the Emmy and Tony Awards are literally my favorite awards shows because these are the award shows that highlight both the best in TV and theater for the year. In my last article, I picked what TV shows and performers I’d hoped to see pick up an Emmy Award. My brother thinks it is so bizarre how I travel all the way to NYC to see a Broadway show and I never go to see movies in my very own town. Growing up, I must have seen every movie in the theaters from the late 90s to the early 2000s. I would go with my friends at the time, in what seemed like every weekend to the mall and the movies. Movies are a reasonable and more affordable choice when looking for entertainment to take your mind away from daily living. Although, for me….. Theater is my first and most favorite choice of entertainment, always.
