Summer Is Here!

Hey everyone!  Spring and summer are the times of year that I look forward to the most.  If I had to choose which time of the year I enjoy more, I’d probably say spring because the weather starts to get warm outside, but not too warm out.  As in, no heat waves.  Although, I do love the season of summer because swimming is a thing again, and there’s nothing better than a dip in the pool when it’s 90 degrees out but feels more like it’s over 100 degrees out.

Summer is great, but there is a downside to one of the best times of the year.  The downside to summer is, of course, the heat.  During the cold months of winter it can be very easy to forget how hot it can get in the summer.  Although, when summer does return, the summer heat returns along with it, and one quickly remembers about the hot and sticky weather of summer.

In summers past, when the weather would get really hot outside, I’d like to say how Elsa from Frozen is just reminding us all that Frozen is on Broadway and there’s no heat wave there.  Although, Frozen is now no longer running on Broadway, so I guess that doesn’t really work anymore.

Last Sunday marked the official start of summer.  Am I happy summer has returned?  Yes!  Am I happy about the return of the summer heat?  Uh, yeah, not so much.  Even though I am not a fan of the hot weather of summer, it’s totally cool because summer is here again!

Before I go, in my last article, I said how my next article, which is this article, I would be talking about pop culture.  I will definitely be talking about pop culture again soon, but summer is here, and I just wanted to talk about the season of summer instead for today’s article.

As always, thanks so much for reading!
