Normally, Emmy Award show night is a night I look forward to every year. As it’s clear to see, I love television. The Emmy Awards are very much like the Super Bowl for those of us who love tv. I have to say, though, considering everything I find myself not quite as excited for this year’s award show as I would normally be.
Living during this “time of pause” many more having been tuning into television. These days one of the most asked questions is “What tv shows are you watching?”. I love television, and I’m very much a TV Nerd. Although, over these last few months I’ve found myself not quite as interested in television as I once had been. It’s not that this television season didn’t deliver great content within its programs, but more like I miss having other things in my life to do besides watch tv.
That being said, I still very much enjoy television and was excited to hear what shows and performers got nominated for this year’s Emmy Awards. After I found out what shows and performers got nominated for this year’s awards, I made the goal for myself to watch every show and performance that received a nomination. This isn’t a new goal of mine, as I have this goal every year of watching every show and performance that gets a nomination. Usually, I never succeed in this goal because there’s just too many tv shows to watch. So, did I reach my goal this year and actually make it in time to have watched every show and performance that received an Emmy nomination before the award show? No. Oh, well.
Stay tuned for my next article, where I’ll be discussing my thoughts on the comedy series that received an Emmy nomination this year. As well as, what show I think will win best comedy series.
I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks so much for reading.
